Drake to perform at Ottawa’s Bluestfest tonight [News]

Ottawa, ON – The Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest is one of the biggest annual music festivals in Canada and easily one of the most anticipated yearly events for local concert goers as swarms of popular bands and artists make their way to the capital for the 12 day spectacle. Toronto’s own Drizzy Drake Rogers will be taking the Claridge Homes Stage tonight at 8:15 in front of a sold out crowd. There were rumours floating around that Drake would be cancelling his Ottawa appearance (and for a variety of reasons) but as of 9:30 a.m. this morning a Bluesfest organizer confirmed the show would go on. The performance is scheduled to begin at 8:15 p.m. Other acts that have performed (or will be performing) at Bluesfest this year include Arcade Fire, Great Big Sea, Crowded House, Weezer, Santana, Iron Maiden, Hole, The B-52’s, Jimmy Cliff and more.
