Happy Canada Day!

On behalf of everyone at HipHopCanada we’d like to wish all Canadians a HAPPY CANADA DAY. There are tons of great events going down around the country and as usual, a huge party that consumes the downtown district of our Nation’s capital, Ottawa. There’s even huge international celebrations in honour of Canada as well in including the 5th annual Canada Day celebration in the infamous Trafalgar Square of London, England. Wherever you are, be safe, be responsible but most importantly have a blast celebrating our great country’s 143rd birthday. Enjoy the video below from Classified called “Oh Canada”.

I LOVED this song until the video came out. R you kidding ? Im not racist at all but why is there not 1 black person or coloured in this vid. Making it seem like Canada is just all white faces, and bald white boys. Like it’s one one race. Canada got immigrants everywhere , this vid does NOT represent canada properly at all. HALF STEP on classified’s part. For that, I can’t even rate this video. I’m so offended. Horrible look. Not a hater, but I hate it.

It was an open shoot, where anybody could show up. So the people in the background are the people who showed. To be honest, that day I don’t think any of us were really thinking about race, it was just a good get together for hip hop.
