Neenah becomes first female producer to win Battle of the Beat Makers [News]

Toronto, ON – Congratulations go out to producer/singer Neenah for becoming the first female Battle of the Beat Makers champion. Neenah, who hails from Amsterdam, Netherlands, is no stranger to the Canadian scene as she has worked in many different capacities with a ton of different people — producing, mixing, song writing, singing and so forth. She’s clearly an incredibly talented individual and her win tonight at Battle of the Beat Makers is just a sign of things to come.

HipHopCanada’s Central Canada Editor Jonathon “Bizz” Brown witnessed the dedicated producer’s achievement: “Neenah flew from Amsterdam and certified her talent in that room. She’s legit”. Photographer Ajani Charles was on hand to capture the event for HipHopCanada as well as his Project T Dot photo series. He provided his take on the event: “I want to say that the event seemed very challenging to judge, and the level of talent in terms of production in Toronto surpasses the level of talent when it comes to MCing.” Look out for more Battle of the Beat Makers coverage in the next couple of days.
