Tonight: New producer to be crowned champion at Battle of the Beat Makers [News]

Toronto, ON – If you’re in Toronto tonight you won’t want to miss the highly anticipated Battle of the Beat Makers 2010 event with special guest host, Grammy-nominated producer Boi-1da. Producers from around the world were given until August 15th to register for the battle. The Battle of the Beat Makers series, brought to you by Sound Supremacy, has been a stapple in the Toronto scene for years and has given upcoming producers a serious career boost literally over night. Just ask Boi-1da; he’s quoted as saying “this is how I got started”. Having him on board to host the 2010 event is a nice touch to tie in the success the series has had in the past with the emerging talent that will showcase their skills at Opera House (735 Queen Street East) this evening. It’s going to be a big night — Sound Supremacy’s Clifton Reddick puts it best: “Canada’s official producer competition has returned to crown the next top producer’. You don’t wanna miss it!
