Manifesto Festival 2010: The Final Hour [News]

Toronto, ON – It’s the final hour. The 4th Annual MANIFESTO Festival starts in Toronto today, Monday, September 20, 2010. Last night, the city was a-buzz and the organizing crew met one last time in the parking lot of the MANIFESTO offices. We talked logistics & staffing, channelling love, positivity and sunshine, and who’s really going to be seeing those all-access passes?

There’s a team of about 30 and hundreds of volunteers that make this festival happen every year. From stage management to artist relations, programming to PR, there isn’t a detail that goes overlooked especially with Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada launching the first day to the festival tomorrow at 4 p.m. at 99 Sudbury. It’s an invite only event, but public is welcome to come check us starting at 7 p.m. for a pitch contest with $15,000 in cash prizes! If you haven’t heard already, get in gear and check out to find out where to head this week in T.O.! Let’s goooooo!!!
