Swollen Members MC Mad Child barred from U.S. [News]

Vancouver, B.C. – Recording artist Mad Child aka Shane Bunting of the award-winning group Swollen Members was recently held by customs agents at Vancouver’s airport before being told that he is no longer allowed in the United States – he’s been banned. Although US officials have not released the official reasoning behind the ban, according to Mad Child he was detained for several hours before being grilled about his ties to the infamous Hells Angels biker gang. Aside from an assault charge when he was younger, Mad Child has no other criminal record and has no charges laid connecting him to organized crime. The decision to ban Mad Child from the States will likely lead to the cancellation of the upcoming Swollen Members North American tour. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
