MediaTakeOut reports Drake’s plan to leave Young Money for Roc Nation [News]

Toronto, ON – The online celebrity gossip rag known as MediaTakeOut is reporting that Drake is hoping to leave his Young Money crew to join his friend J. Cole at Jay’z Roc Nation. The site had been posting about a rift between Drizzy and his YM Squad for the past couple of months but now they’ve claimed to have an inside source provide them with the following statement: “Drake likes making music with [Lil Wayne] and the rest, but he’s a different dude. There’s a lot of hood [ish] that goes down at Young Money, and Drake’s not a hood [dude], so he wants to be away from that.” MediaTakeOut.com’s insider goes on to say, “Drake’s mother is also worried . . . She doesn’t want him around gangs or drugs.” Apparently Jay-Z is trying to pull strings with Cash Money CEO Bryan “Baby” Williams but Baby isn’t budging. Despite all this, on the day MediaTakeOut released this report, Drake tweeted: “YMCMB for the rest of my life. Always All Days.” This wouldn’t be the first time MediaTakeOut has been wrong so we’ll see how it plays out.
