Lil Wayne talks collaboration album with Drake [News]

Toronto, ON – In a recent interview with MTV News, Lil Wayne spoke on Drake’s involvement with The Carter IV album. Drizzy fans will be happy to know that he will indeed be featured on the album but they’ll be even more thrilled to know that the rumored collaboration project between Weezy and Drake will materialize – possibly before the end of 2011. “Probably the end of the year if we work hard at it,” said Wayne on the eve of the release of his new video single “6 Foot 7 Foot” featuring Cory Gunz.

“That right there has always been in the making. We’ve always been in studio or had conversations about doing an album together. Of course, I’ve had ideas to do an album with T-Pain – we’ve got T-Wayne situation going – and Drake is a very respectable dude so he was like ‘I don’t wanna disrespect none of those situations so I’m just going to wait until you actually have a real good moment to you and I working on an album'” which he followed with “It’s coming up.” Stay tuned for more information.
