T-Pain live in Montreal tomorow night, March 17, at the TELUS Theatre [News]

Montreal, QC – OMG Productions proudly presents hip-hop superstar T-Pain live in concert tomorrow night, March 17th, in Montreal. The Steam Punk Tour stops in Montreal at the TELUS Theatre, located at 1280 Saint-Denis, near Berri-UQAM metro station. Blurring the borders that divide hip-hop and soul, Southern soulster T-Pain originally found fame after his unofficial remix of Akon’s “Locked Up”, when the African sensation instantly signed T-Pain to his Konvict Music imprint. Having seen firsthand how drugs can destroy the fibre of a family, T-Pain consciously chose to detour from that path. Relocating to Atlanta with his wife and daughter in hopes of a fresh start, he set up shop and found a different perspective on life and music.

3 BET awards, 2 Grammys, 1 People’s Choice award, and a whole lot of nominations later, T-Pain is bursting on the urban scene now more than ever. Collaborating with such artists as Kanye West, Usher, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, and Taylor Swift, T-Pain has no problem inducing tears or making hypnotic dance tracks and will continue to take hip-hop to places that have yet to be defined. The first part of the night showcases the rhythmic styling of local drummer Ryan Stevenson, who’s recently seen success thanks to his banging hits—literally.
