Vancouver, B.C. – Raekwon the Chef was in the place to be this 4/20 – Fortune Sound Club in Kush City. HipHopCanada was in the house to snap some flicks and have a listen…Rae treated the adoring fans to some old classics like “C.R.E.A.M,” an ODB tribute and of course “Ice Cream,” while injecting a couple of newer numbers like “Rock and Roll” off the new Shaolin vs Wu-Tang album. A few other crowd-pleasers included “The New Wu” from Only Built 4 Cuban Linx pt. 2 and “Can It All Be So Simple.” The crowd ate it up, and Raekwon served it nicely. Good times; check out the photo set after the jump.

Amalia Judith was born in Winnipeg, MB and quickly whisked away to a childhood of travel throughout California, England, Germany and predominantly Pakistan. In 2006 she completed an honor's degree in English Literature, which left her quite jobless and alone in East Van. Amalia cut her teeth at abortmag.com, Canada's darkest counter-culture magazine, moving on to contribute words and flicks to HipHopCanada: she's currently the Western Canadian Editor and has had the privilege to interview hip-hop icons like Lil' Kim, Drake, Dead Prez, Big Boi, Pharrell Williams and half of Wu-Tang.
