Milli Millz and Logik Dat Lad to perform at Hip-Hop Ain’t Dead launch party in Edmonton on June 24 [News]

Edmonton, AB – After a successful launch party in Vancouver late April, Hip-Hop Ain’t Dead It Lives In The North will be marking its official Alberta launch on Friday, June 24th at the Flow Lounge & Grill (11845 Wayne Gretzky Drive) in Edmonton. Aside from t-shirt and mixtape giveaways throughout the evening, the event will feature performances from Montreal’s Milli Millz and Toronto’s Logik Dat Lad. Edmonton’s own DJ Akademic will be providing the music for the evening. The event is presented by HipHopCanada and Jak Moves.

The very next day, Saturday, June 25th, Edmonton will be home to the very first Hip-Hop Ain’t Dead It Lives In The North BBQ – featuring music by DJ Akademic and Toronto’s DJ Dames Nellas. Aside from gear that will be on sale (including men’s and women’s t-shirts), there will be hot dogs, chips, water, pop and juice. It’s going down at William Hawrelak Park located at 9930 Groat Road in Edmonton.
