Odd Future to stop in Vancouver and Toronto on upcoming Golf Wang Tour 2011 [News]

Vancouver, B.C. – OFWGKTA, better known as Odd Future, has just announced the dates for their 2011 Golf Wang tour and Canada will play host to two of the 27-dates. The 11-member crew, which includes rising stars Tyler, The Creator and R&B singer Frank Ocean, has risen quite quickly through the industry ranks and has become one of the most buzzing hip-hop acts in the world. Tyler was recently nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards for his “Yonkers” record and recently made waves with his “Trouble On My Mind” collaboration with Pusha-T of The Clipse.

Odd Future will be in Vancouver on October 3rd at Vogue and October 18th in Toronto at Sound Academy. The tour itself kicks off in San Diego, California at the House of Blues on September 28th. Here’s an interesting random connection between Odd Future and Canada – according to Tyler’s Wikipedia entry, he was raised by his single mother, who is of Nigerian and European-Canadian descent. The entire tour schedule is available after the jump.
