Vancouver, B.C. – Inside the studio with Matt Brevner. Audio is captured with a Canon 7D, then layered with what the artist is hearing in his headphones. One take is key… this is Volume 5 of Matt’s creative One Takes series. ”#Popitoff” is produced by Matt Brevner who also handles the visuals via his company BSharp Productions.

On top of being a well rounded figure amongst others in Vancouver’s hip-hop scene, Matt Brevner’s sound is reflective of his broad scope as an artist. Aside from delivering the proverbial aggressive and hard sound that is associated with rap music, Brevner’s music also includes a variety of undertones, reflective of other musical genres, such as soft lyrical melodies to high energy house tracks, leaving no listener out of the loop when it comes to his music. Be sure to watch out for Brevner’s collaborative dubstep/hip-hop album with DJ Stylust, entitled Wobble Street. Combining classic Dubstep undertones with intricate melodies, it is a refreshingly original take on both genres.
