The New North kicks off inside Toronto’s WRONGBAR September 8th

Toronto, ON – The Real Frequency grew from a humble foundation, becoming one of Toronto’s most loved radio shows, and the first all-hip-hop show on Canada’s first commercial urban radio station, FLOW 93.5FM. The show’s popular New North segment, which launched back in 2008 as a quarterly month long occurrence became a mainstay for featuring new, up-and-coming artists, and while the radio show has since shut down operation, due to its parent company being sold, the idea lives on with The New North album. Being released by The Real Frequency crew, comprised of Muziklee Inzane, Arcee, P-Plus, and Keezy, The New North carries on the tradition that began with the radio show, bringing together over 30 artists, including rappers, singers, producers, and DJ’s, and featuring some of Toronto’s finest up-and-coming talent, including the likes of Shad, JD Era, Kardinal Offishall, Rich Kidd, Marco Polo, MoSS, Tona, Boi-1da, Frank Dukes, Luu Breeze, King Reign, Ayah, Richie Sosa, and many more. The Real Frequency’s The New North is out now, available for purchase through all digital retailers.
