Battle: King of the Dot - Flatline - Nov. 5 in Toronto - DNA vs Dizaster

Toronto, ON – A long awaited clash between bitter rivals and the final bout in the $5000 2 vs. 2 Grand Prix headline the latest King of the Dot event, FLATLINE. Fresh off hosting one of the most historic events in the history of battle rap WD2, Toronto has the privilege of again being the backdrop to a host of the world’s most high profile battlers. The environment in Club XS is guaranteed to be raucous, disrespectful, untamed and a raw display of talent – everything that KOTD has come to be known for.

The two-time World Rap Champions Illmaculate and Thesaurus have steamrolled their competition on the way to the 2 vs. 2 Grand Prix Finals, once again asserting themselves as the most dominant two man team in battle rap. Standing in their way of another crown are poRICH and Diaz, GTA representatives with a mean streak who have earned their spot with a slew of ridiculous performances. This is not the first scrap for Rich and his West Coast opponents – in 2007 he battled Illmac and Saurus at the WRC Finals alongside of Kid Twist and losing 2 to 1. This match will no doubt be a heated affair, with Rich and his new partner Diaz trying not only to avenge his previous loss, but also to keep the Grand Prix title on Canadian soil.

For months the tensions have been brewing between New York’s DNA and LA’s Dizaster. The two MCs were scheduled to face off at an earlier event, but the battle was cancelled last minute due to a series of complications. Since then, both have been chomping at the bit for a chance to rip into the other. Dizaster is fresh off a World Domination 2 victory, while DNA put on an impressive performance at URL’s Summer Madness that same weekend. There will be no lack of animosity between these two when they finally get the chance to scrap it out in Toronto.

Those two main events stack a card supported by an insane host of MCs from across North America, with matches such as Arcane vs. Skelly, Miracle vs. Jack Shitt and Caustic vs. Q Shinobi are all on deck. Buy your tickets now at and save yourself a little coin. King of the Dot has shown tremendous growth over the past few years, and the support of the fans keep it going. Support your local battle scene and come be a part of history!
