Promise joins all-star line-up at Duck Down vs. Blacksmith CMJ Showcase in Brooklyn [News]

New York, NY – Tomorrow, October 22nd, Toronto’s own Promise will be joining some of his Duck Down labelmates and affiliates for the Duck Down vs. Blacksmith CMJ Showcase in Brooklyn. It all goes down inside the Music Hall of Williamsburg (66 N. 6th Street – between Kent & Whyte). Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 9. The show will kick-off with an opening DJ set by Meka of 2dopeboyz.com.

Promise will be joined on stage by Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, Jean Grae, Buckshot, Smif N Wessun and Kidz In The Hall. There will also be music by Statik Selektah who will bring a special Population Control set. Check the official event flyer after the jump.
