Ottawa, ON – On Saturday, January 21st, CKCU-FM is hosting Ottawa’s newest and most-inclusive hip-hop festivals live on Carleton University’s campus at Oliver’s Pub. Winterfest is an all-day celebration of hip-hop culture, featuring live performances from multiple Canadian recording artists, live visual art being done on-site, the latest fashion from some of Ottawa’s hottest designers, free prizes and giveaways, and a variety of fundraising activities for CKCU-FM. The event will feature performances by DL Incognito, Moka Only, Flight Distance, Brokenbridge, Philly Moves, Cashtro Crosby & DJ Mes, S.C.R.I.P.T., Spitten Image, M.A., Lay-D Shelz, Fine Young Gentlemen, Loretta House, Teddy KGB, Aron Tha Alien, Entourage Music Group, K.G., Mike Kleff and Keisha Williams. More acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Leading up to January 21st, HipHopCanada will be doing extensive coverage of Winterfest including exclusive interviews with some of the artists on the bill and updates on new additions to the line-up.
