Toronto, ON – Until you start flipping through an inbox full of music video submissions, you can’t really appreciate the amount of talent the Toronto scene’s next generation of MCs are bringing forward. A few of them are already receiving more mainstream attention while a ton continue to steadily build their fan bases quietly in the background. There’s a fierce amount of competition between the young generations, especially within the ‘hipster’ and gangsta rap crowds. The amount and frequency of quality videos artists are releasing is impressive, to say the least. The amount of competition is leaving artists no choice but to come stronger and more original than the next man.

With releases like the “4 You” video, Killah and Roney are definitely dropping the kind of bars that will keep the streets watching.
