A quick minute with Noreaga [Interview]

Vancouver, BC – In between puffing blunts, downing Stellas and rocking the crowd at Fortune Sound, N.O.R.E. aka Noreaga spared a few minutes to chat with HipHopCanada’s KassKills about the highly anticipated release of S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G., who’s hot in the game and why he loves Vancity.

A quick minute with Noreaga [Interview] -

“Vancouver’s my favorite…The weed is great, the atmosphere is excellent, beautiful city, wonderful food, I’m impressed.”

N.O.R.E.: Q&A

Interview conducted by KassKills for HipHopCanada

HipHopCanada: So, you’re working on S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G now and we already know you have some big collabs on that album. Can you say who’s been your favorite to work with?

N.O.R.E: S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G ain’t finished yet so that would be unfair for me to say who is my favorite. I don’t want to say yet but when it’s done I could give you a fair answer.

HipHopCanada: How does a seasoned artist stay relevant as the hip-hop landscape continues to change?

N.O.R.E: I just work with newer artists. Like, I got a new single comin’ out with Waka Flocka. Working with Game, Busta. I got this new single with Meek Mills and Pusha-T. I like working with new guys, it’s not a problem.

A quick minute with Noreaga [Interview] -

HipHopCanada: Who are some of the newer artists you see coming up right now?

N.O.R.E: I like French Montana, I like Action Bronson, I like Meek Mills. Yup.

HipHopCanada: Favorite city while on tour?

N.O.R.E: Vancouver’s my favorite. Look, I’m Vancity’d out. *refers to hat and hoodie. I love it. The weed is great, the atmosphere is excellent, beautiful city, wonderful food, I’m impressed.

HipHopCanada: Whats next?

N.O.R.E: Got some tracks coming up with Red1. We just finishing the S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G. movie that is coming out with the album. I’m fifty percent done with that but when I get back to America I’ll get back to shooting and working on that.

HipHopCanada: Thanks!

Kassandra has her hands in several cookie jars. Born in Ontario but raised on the West coast, she is currently located in the wonderfully diverse East side of Vancouver. With a passion for all things creative KassKills is a hair stylist by day and HipHopCanada's West Coast Regional Editor by night. Music and public relations are her true passions and although she didn't inherit the talent of her musician father she makes her mark on the industry through other avenues. By night you can catch KassKills at almost every Vancity hip-hop show, shaking hands and snapping photos while covering and supporting the local music scene. On top of that she works closely with one of the cities most reputable concert promotors, Timbre Concerts. Kass is a hustler by nature and works hard to play a key role Vancity's hip-hop scene. Over the years she has seen, photographed and interviewed many of hip-hop's top artists such as T.I, Raekwon, Sheek Louch, Noreaga, Black Milk, Waka Flocka, Ab-Soul & Dizaster.
