HHC Presents: Chin’s Big Beat Battle Extended! [Contest]

Vancouver, B.C. -  After an overwhelming response to Chin Injeti’s call for beat submissions – with a hefty prize of attending his Master Class Production Workshops for free – Chin and Nimbus Studios have decided to push the deadline to March 22. The winner will be announced April 9, with the workshop taking place May 12 and 13th – this gives out of province artists an opportunity to enter and make their Vancouver travel plans in time. So send in those beats! See more details after the jump.

Chin Beat Battle

Grammy award-winning producer  Chin Injeti knows a thing or two about beat production – having worked with Dr. Dre, Kanye West and Eminem to name a few, Chin is something of an expert in all things hip-hop. Chin and a few special guests will be running his Hip-Hop Production Master Class at Nimbus Studios on May 12th and 13th, and is calling Canada’s aspiring producers to enter to win free tuition for this amazing course!

Past Workshops:  Former guest instructors include David Banner, DJ Khalil.  Bink, Chad Hugo and Boi 1da, with in-person appearances from Canadian hip-hop legends like Moka Only, Mad Child and DJ Flipout. Past students have commented that “Watchin Chin work, hearing about his experience and process was very inspiring” and “(My favorite aspect of the workshop)…was Chin’s wisdom and speaking to the greats.”

So if you think you have what it takes to make it in the big leagues,  send your best beat to with Chin’s Big Beat Battle as the subject for your chance to win a free workshop weekend.
