Tour Tales of Masta Ace, Marco Polo and Stricklin – Eastern Canada
Montreal, Ottawa and Kenora – As we continue to stalk to talented trio Masta Ace, Marco Polo and Stricklin as they tour across Canada, we see the changing landscapes, different tastes and varied landmarks that make up this country. They’ve been in the East lately, so they all had some things to say about Montreal, Ottawa and Kenora. Check out their pics and diary entries after the jump.

Masta Ace reviews the show at Ritual Night Club in Ottawa:
Ritual Night Club in Ottawa was packed to the walls and they definitely challenged for the top spot as craziest and loudest audience on #TourCanada2012

And tells us about the Ottawa food prices:
Had lunch with @marcopolobeats on our day off at SmoQue Shack in Ottawa. Food was insane! Large portions and reasonably priced.
The SmoQue Shack dessert menu had some very unusual items….

Marco Polo agrees about the food…
Rarely do I experience a great meal on the road mostly due to fast moving schedules and limited off time. But my man DJ Illo suggested The Smoque Shack in Ottawa. I ordered the pulled pork & beef brisket with some dinner rolls. DOPE.

And the venue…
Throw in possibly the livest show of the tour at Ritual and Ottawa was great. Thanks Mike!
But Stricklin gets a new perspective:
Here’s my view of downtown Ottawa from the 15th floor of our hotel. Dope city! And I found out its the Capitol! Great show and people were nice!

Marco Polo finds the hip joints in Montreal:
Shouts to Louis @ The Fakeshop for taking us to eat at a dope Portuguese chicken spot called Romados. His store had some nice gear too. Anyone traveling thru Montreal should stop by this store.

The actual show was one of the livest so far. Thanks to Mike & Perry for bringing us back. Also, shouts to all the people that came out to Le Belmont to rock with us. Didn’t get a chance to go diggin which sucks, next time. Thanks Montreal!
Masta Ace enjoyed the Montreal crowd…and the chicken!
Le Belmont was the place to be Friday night in Montreal! The MTL crowd was the loudest so far on Tour Canada 2012!

The next day we enjoyed the most incredible rotisserie chicken on earth at Romados near downtown.

Stricklin gets structural:
Every time I come to Montreal, I take a pic of this structure. It’s so dope to me! Reminds me of something from the 70s! I think it’s a hotel but not totally sure. Anyway, this is my monument in Montreal! Lol!

Masta Ace gets a taste of small town life:
Breakfast at Yesterdays in Kenora. Very homey vibes, simple and to the point. We were the last to leave that morning.

Had time to do some local errands, like a load of laundry in town. Small town life can be simplistic and beautiful.

And all the guys gather under Husky the Musky…
