#420 | Belly – I Drink, I Smoke ft. Snoop Dogg [Video]

Toronto, ON – On April 20th, in celebration of International Smokers Day, Juno winner and marijuana enthusiast Belly (@reBELLYus) released the music video for “I Drink, I Smoke” featuring his long-time friend and collaborator Snoop Dogg. The RT!-directed video for “I Drink, I Smoke” was shot in Amsterdam and is a tribute to Belly’s favorite pastime – smoking.

The track is from his mixtape Sleepless Nights 1.5. This is Belly’s second collaboration with the Doggfather. The two first teamed up on the song “Hot Girl” from Belly’s 2009 mixtape Back for the First Time hosted by DJ Smallz. Belly also joined Snoop on the Blue Carpet Treatment tour across Canada. “The first rap album I ever owned was Doggystyle,” says Belly, “so getting to work with Snoop and join him on tour were defining moments in my life. It’s amazing to collaborate with him again and be able to call him a friend and mentor.”

Belly’s passion for cannabis recently helped land him an endorsement deal with Atmos Technology, creator of the world’s smallest dried herb vaporizer. The rapper, who also has a monthly “Cream of the Crop” column in The 420 Times where he shares his favorite strands with readers, is an official ambassador for the Atmos brand.

@ThatsBizz is a Senior Contributor for HipHopCanada and a member of the Central Canada team. The nuts and bolts of Jonathon “Bizz” Brown are impressive, but it’s his ability to apply his skills, identify opportunities, adapt to new environments and get the job done that makes him who he is. An engaging combination of education, experience and vision, Brown continues to make his mark on many fronts and plant his flag as a professional on the rise. Entrenched in the urban music scene for more than half a decade, Bizz launched Crack House Radio in 2004. Over the next four years, the online radio show would evolve into a major outlet for Canadian music and hip hop culture in general. Over that time, Bizz interviewed countless artists and professionals including Belly, Bishop, Drake, Classified, Guru, Joell Ortiz, author and gang specialist Michael Chettleburg, Brent (owner of Just Ent) & many others. In 2007, Bizz joined Urbanology Magazine as a staff writer and would go on to contribute dozens of articles over the next three years including a cover story on Classified in 2009. 2007 also saw the launch of Bizz' line of t-shirts reading "Hip Hop Ain't Dead It Lives In The North." Since then, he's toured with Peter Jackson, Busta Rhymes, DJ Dames Nellas, Bishop, Slaughterhouse & Pharoahe Monch and secured a strong following with his column on called "The Fine Print."
