Application deadlines and additional info released for the 2012 Toronto Independent Music Awards [News]

Toronto, ON – Calling all Toronto artists, record labels etc! The Toronto Independent Music Awards (TIMA) application deadline for the recorded material categories is Friday, July 27, 2012 at 5 p.m. EST. The TIMAs have assembled a grand jury of outstanding industry professionals, musicians, and broadcasters who will be reviewing the entries. See the complete list of jurors here: http://torontoima.com/new/grand-jury. Recorded material nominees will recieve complimentary tickets to the award show. Recorded Material winners will recieve an industry-sponsored prize package, a TIMA award and the opportunity to perform at the 7th TIMA awards. The 6th TIMA award ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 6th, 2012 at the Phoenix Concert Theater in Toronto, Ontario. Over $60,000 in prizes will be awarded to 20+ music categories. Stay tuned to HipHopCanada for more coverage.
