Toronto, ON – Theo3 is probably one of the most respected people I know in the Toronto scene. He’s well-respected by peers from his own generation, looked up to by younger aspiring artists and is constantly giving back to the community. I’ve personally witnessed and recorded Theo3 plow through verses, needing only one take to nail the recording each time. As someone who had recorded over 50-60 people at that point, I was sincerely impressed by his work ethic and natural talent. I haven’t personally seen anyone top that level of precision since. Rightfully so, I let Theo know that I respected what he had done for Canadian hip-hop, and that I was impressed with what I had just witnessed.

Thankfully, if I had boosted his ego at all, I quickly brought him back down to earth by serving up two consecutive FIFA losses on PS2. He might dispute the facts on that but, nonetheless, the rematch awaits.

This here is 2 tracks off Theo3′s collaboration with DJ Tony Touch called Elevator Up. The first track, our Song of the Day, is “All Figured Out” featuring Drake with production by AmiR. The other track is a tune I’m featuring on a mixtape coming out in the near future by the same name. “Pass The Dutchy” also pays tribute to Matic of Camp X.
