TMZ: Reports indicate Chris Brown fought with Meek Mill, not Drake [News]

New York, NY – There were reports earlier today that Drake and Chris Brown had gotten into an altercation at Club WIP in New York City over issues relating to Rihanna. Both artists have been romantically linked to Rihanna at one point or another. However, Drake’s camp has issued a statement insisting the Toronto rapper had nothing to do with the incident, aside from being at the same venue – which he was leaving when the fight broke out.

Sources have informed us that the fight was between Breezy and a rapper that was with Drake at the club: Maybach Music’s Meek Mill. Meek Mill allegedly hit Chris with a bottle, causing the gash seen in our previous post. Reports have shown that there was signifcant damage to the club including broken mirrors, lights, tables and other furniture. In total, including Chris Brown, 5 people were injured although there were no critical injuries and, as of yet, no criminal charges laid.

Finally, despite earlier reports, the new information coming out suggests that Rihanna had nothing to do with the incident. Meek Mill’s only comment so far came via Twitter: “It wasn’t me…. (shaggy voice) lol.” Almost 3 hours later, Mill tweeted “#amen” which could a sublte way to show solidarity with Drake.
