Wyclef clears Canadian customs to join muGz and Imposs at Quebec festival [News]

Montreal, QC – Wyclef Jean almost didn’t make it through customs on Friday after landing at Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport… but the keyword is almost! Fans looking forward to seeing him Saturday night at the Festival d’été de la Vallée-du-Richelieu can rest assured, he’ll be there.

Rumors began to spread that his appearance would be cancelled after the Fugees star tweeted: “Just landed in Montreal I’m at immigration waiting I lost my Greencard! I gotta 1 million fans waiting let me in!”

Be despite not finding the card, Canadian officials allowed Wyclef through and he again updated his Twitter followers, this time with: “I am in Montreal all went well at immigration ready or not here I come!”

The festival takes place in Mont-St-Hilaire, Quebec. There will also be performances by Montreal’s own Imposs (Muzion) and muGz. For more details visit Festivallee.com.
