Alyssa Reid releases UK remix to “The Game” featuring Snoop Dogg [News/Video]
London, UK – Alyssa Reid has been very successful in Canada but she’s also been building an international fan base including a big following in the UK. Her hit single “Alone Again,” featuring P. Reign, originally debuted in Canada in November of 2010. The song eventually entered the Canadian Hot 100 chart at #79 for the week of January 1, 2011 and it peaked the week of April 23, 2011 in the #11 spot. In February 2012, exactly a year and one month after debuting in Canada, “Alone Again” debuted in the #2 spot on charts in the United Kingdom. P. Reign was featured on the track in all countries except for the UK, where Jump Smokers! made the guest appearance. Also, her French-Canadian “Encore Seule” version featured Dice B.
“The Game,” off the album of the same name, was released on May 31, 2011 and peaked at #35 in the week of September 24, 2011 on the Canadian Hot 100. The single has now been remixed with a verse from Snoop Dogg (aka Snoop Lion) for the UK version of The Game which drops September 2nd. A video was just released exclusively to UK tabloid, The Sun but you can watch the video below. Here’s what Alyssa told UK magazine Female First about the collaboration with Snoop:
“The Game is my second single, it’s featuring Snoop Dogg and although we already released it in Canada, we’ve kind of re-hashed it and done an exclusive UK version. We just filmed the video, so that should be coming out in a week or so and it’s kind of like a rebuttal to Alone Again.”
