The Greatest Dream Date: JD Era meets HipHopCanada (Video) [Interview]

Vancouver, BC – Whether she admits to it or not, every girl has the fantasy of being taken on a date by a handsome, successful, creative gentleman. Well ladies, we stepped up to the plate and asked Toronto’s own JD Era to accompany HipHopCanada’s Team Heartbreak on the perfect dream date. Upon the release of his latest video “The Greatest” we decided that this tall, dark and handsome MC was the missing link in our perfect date. So, we ate ice cream, took a walk along Vancouver’s Coal Harbor and asked a few interesting questions. Ever wonder about Era’s relationship with his mama? Or maybe his past relationships and ultimate turn-offs? Check out @AmaliaJude and @KassKills as they go on The Greatest Dream Date after the jump.

Amalia Judith was born in Winnipeg, MB and quickly whisked away to a childhood of travel throughout California, England, Germany and predominantly Pakistan. In 2006 she completed an honor's degree in English Literature, which left her quite jobless and alone in East Van. Amalia cut her teeth at abortmag.com, Canada's darkest counter-culture magazine, moving on to contribute words and flicks to HipHopCanada: she's currently the Western Canadian Editor and has had the privilege to interview hip-hop icons like Lil' Kim, Drake, Dead Prez, Big Boi, Pharrell Williams and half of Wu-Tang. Amalia also works as a Key Worker educator and advocate for families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, as well as heading up Team Heartbreak, a media production company that pairs community involvement and artistic movements. She'd love to write you the best bio you've ever had or develop your branding strategy - www.teamheartbreak.com for more info.

One of my favorite interviews on Hiphopcanada yet! A whole other side of JD I’ve never seen. Great job Team Heartbreak!
