Cam Smith represents Canada in XXL’s Ready or Not Rap Battle [News]

Dartmouth, NS – Look out for Producer/MC Cam Smith representing Canada at the XXL and Corona Extra Ready or Not Rap Battle. The competition starts by taking in submissions from the public and then narrowing it down to 16 MCs. Those 16 MCs compete in the preliminary round, followed by the Semis, Quarters and Finals. Basically 2 tracks are set side-by-side and the public can vote for the best one. The winner advances, and so forth. At the time of making this post, it appears that Cam has beaten his Preliminary round opponent, D-Win. The voting also seems to be either over or currently not functioning. Be sure to check out his Ocean Blue mixtape to get a better feel for his music.
