Big Sean kicks off Canadian tour (Live) [Photos/Review]
Vancouver, BC – Entering the Vogue Theatre, one was not prepared for the ensuing madness as Sean Anderson – a.k.a. Big Sean – held his first ever concert in Vancity. Sean signed to G.O.O.D. Music in 2007, and in 2008 to Island Def Jam – he has worked with the likes of Kanye West, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne, so it’s easy to see why Vancouver attended so enthusiastically.
The show started off with DJ Moi Beatz, who got the crowd hyped and ready to roll before Big Sean entered the stage to songs such as Kanye’s “Niggas in Paris,” transitioning into Waka Flocka’s “Grove St. Party” and ending with Tyga’s “Lapdance.” Big Sean proceeded to bust onstage with the opening song “I Don’t Like,” getting everyone throwin’ bows (the dance move) – all the same, it seemed all the chicks in the crowd were throwing elbows just to get a spot at the front. Big Sean then ended the song with “Vancouver that’s that shit I do like. Someone told me Vancouver was the loudest motherfuckin’ place in the North,” cueing the crowd to yowl their faces off.
During the song “My Last,” Big Sean put his hand down his pants receiving sensual squeals from the surrounding ladies. Rocking a Finally Famous Over Everything baseball shirt and a sparkly gold-encrusted skull chain Big Sean was throwing beats so hard he was practically punching the crowd in the face with flavor. Next, comedian Katt Williams popped onto the background monitors to give some words of wisdom; “Life is fucking short. Smoke that weed,” prompting Sean to break into the song “High.” The crowd lit up and threw their hands in the air to sway to these literally unforgettable beats: stoner memory…what cha goin’ do.
With the background graphics spewing fire and the smoke machines bombing the audience with clouds of thickness, Sean shredded beats in the song “Burn.” It’s clear Big Sean is truly dedicated to his trade: “Workin all night no breaks or a recess, I’ma let that shit burn.” To the delight of the ladies and some dudes in the crowd Big Sean took off his shirt erecting the perfect mood for “Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay.”
With a little Nicki Minaj to start the booty poppin’ Big Sean broke into “Dance (A$$).” Turning his hat backwards, here’s where Sean got accurately nasty using the mic stand as his dick, dry humping the crowd. He ended the song with “If ya pussy cream lemme hear ya scream.” Turning on his flow like an aphrodisiac, the crowd might as well have been eating oysters straight outta the sea. Having progressed quickly into fame Big Sean keeps it real and does it all for his family, stating, “the best thing about fame is taking care of my family. To go to my grandma’s house and she be like ‘man I’m proud of you man.’ Best thing to hear.”
Big Sean reminds me of a young Hugh Hefner with his swank, style, and ability to get girls to scream for him. Check out this man’s newest mixtape Detroit to witness the epicness. You can click here to download it now on HipHopCanada.
