Toronto, ON – When Public Enemy performed in Toronto recently, they made sure to salute two Canadian hip-hop legends, Maestro and Michie Mee. Maestro also hit the stage to perform a verse that calls out everyone from Canadian Prime Minister Steven Harper and Toronto mayor Rob Ford – impressing everyone, including PE’s Chuck D, in the process. He even touched on his longevity and legend status in Canadian hip-hop: “Before Drake was on the tour bus, rhyming with Wayne…I was in the basement, vibing to Kane.” Shouts to Strizzzy.com for capturing the footage and documenting the event.
