Drake graduates from high school [News]

Toronto, ON – In some non-music related Drake news, the young artist has earned himself a high school diploma. Ten years ago, after landing himself a role on the TV show Degrassi: The Next Generation Drake dropped out of Toronto’s Forest Hill Collegiate Institute. However, this past summer, Drizzy hit the books hard and has now completed his studies. On Twitter he revealed he had passed the course he was taking with an 88% and had earned an impressive 97% on his final exam. He also took time to thank his teacher Kim Janzen for 5 months of hard work.

He’ll be celebrating the graduation (and his upcoming 26th birthday) in style tomorrow inside Washington, D.C.’s swanky Park on Fourteenth venue. UPDATE: Photos of that event are now available here.
