Frank Dukes makes huge contribution to Man with the Iron Fists soundtrack [News]
New York, NY – Canadian producers continue to make waves internationally as Frank Dukes (@FrankDukes) lands 8 placements on the soundtrack to the new RZA flick, The Man with the Iron Fists. The action-adventure feature directed by RZA will be in theatres November 2nd but the soundtrack is available now. A “rare set of movie-inspired music that’s actually worth paying attention to,” according to SPIN Magazine. RZA acted as executive producer for the soundtrack and score albums along with Quentin Tarantino and others. During the development process, Tarantino agreed to lend his name to the film with a “presented by” credit.
Frank is credited for the tracks “Get Your Way (Sex is a Weapon)” by Idle Warship, “Rivers of Blood” by Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God and Kool G Rap, “Built for This” by Method Man, Freddie Gibbs and Streetlife, “The Archer” by Killa Sin, “Green is the Mountain” by Frances Yip, “Six Directions of Boxing” by Wu-Tang Clan, “Best Shots” by Sheek Louch, Ghostface Killah and Inspectah Deck, and, the soundtrack’s lead single, “Tick, Tock” featuring Pusha T, Raekwon, Joell Ortiz and Danny Brown.
