Kanye West – White Dress [Audio]

Chicago, IL – On November 2nd, RZA will be releasing a self-directed martial arts film titled Man with the Iron Fists with an impressive soundtrack to go with it. The soundtrack’s track listing includes this gem by Kanye West called “White Dress.” The meaning behind the lyrics are a bit unclear but the first thing that comes to mind is that Ye may be referring to Kim Kardashian as the woman he’d like to marry.

RZA decoded a couple of bars for MTV on the red carpet at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards and explained “you know, some of these girls, you know, you want to make a wife out of them. But they got to get it together.” Considering every song is an original piece made for the film, it is also safe to assume this song has a deeper meaning that ties into the content of the picture. Either way, it’s a very endearing song and does not disappoint. It was produced by RZA, Ye, Boogz and Tapez. Listen below and see the rest of the tracklisting after the jump.

She graduated from York University almost 2 years ago and since then has co-founded a youth led, social enterprise called The Next Edition which uses media and art to engage youth with their community. For the past year and a half she has been working with young aspiring artists who are looking for a way to showcase their skills and have their voice heard. With juggling weekly meetings, managing a website, and planning events for hundreds of people Natasha takes refuge in urban music. Researching and knowing the latest headlines, and newest tracks in the hip-hop world is something that she loves. But more importantly for her hip-hop is a lot more than just a genre of music, it is a culture and it has shaped who she is today. Finding a way to combine her passion for music, the knowledge she has gained from working with young people and the issues she has seen in the community is a goal Natasha would like to achieve in the near future. Recently, Natasha has taken on PR work for rappers and DJs.
