K’naan and Kardinal Offishall to perform at 100th Grey Cup Festival [News]
Toronto, ON – On November 15th, Toronto will play host to the 100th Grey Cup Festival. The 11-day event will take place in Toronto’s downtown core in 4 established zones that includes Nathan Phillips Square, Yonge-Dundas Square, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and Front, John and Simcoe Streets.
Football is obviously is the centre of attention for the festivities, but Canadian hip-hop will also be represented. On November 22nd, both Kardinal Offishall and K’naan will be headlining at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre as part of Flow 93.5′s TELUS Players Party. K’naan and Kardi will be joined by Juno nominees Mia Martina and Kreesha Turner and the event will also feature award winners from the 2012 CFL and CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport) seasons.
Other performers that have already signed on including Matthew Good, Sam Roberts Band, Kathleen Edwards, Big Sugar and Burton Cummings.
