HipHopCanada sponsors 2013 Barbados Music Awards featuring A-Game & Melanie Durrant [News]
Two Mile Hill, BB – HipHopCanada and Farnham Recording Studio (@FarnhamStudios) are proud to sponsor and support the 2013 Barbados Music Awards; the Caribbean’s most internationally acclaimed music awards event which has been in existence for eight years. This year Canadians A-Game and Melanie Durrant will represent Canada with performances at the show. Melanie will take part in a Whitney Houston tribute that will also include a performance by Whitney’s mother, Cissy Houston.
The award show is unequaled anywhere in the Caribbean region for its scale, with over 25,000 people attending the various events that take place each year. The event has been covered by international media, and has been attended by two of Barbados’ heads of state (the Rt. Hon. Owen Arthur and the Late Rt. Hon. David Thompson) and multiple distinguished guests (including Dame Billie Miller, US Ambassador Her Excellency Mary Ourisman, Dame Olga Lopes Seale, former Deputy Prime Minister of Barbados the Hon. Mia Amor Mottley and numerous others) on multiple occasions.
It all goes down January 13th at 8 p.m. inside the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre located in Two-Mile Hill, approximately two miles away from Bridgetown in the Parish of Saint Michael.
