Winnipeg’s Abstract Artform perfoms at 100th Grey Cup Fest [Video/Photos]
Toronto, ON – Check out this footage of Winnipeg’s Abstract Artform performing in front of football fans from across Canada this past weekend at the 100th Grey Cup Fest. The performance took place at The Adrenaline Zone in Toronto’s Nathan Philips Square. The group, fuse masters of Prairie-inspired hip-hop and funk, were selected to perform after winning the #1 placement in the urban genre of Intel Canada Superstars’ competition for their track “As The Crow Flies,” off their forthcoming release. Here’s a quote from Abstract Artform vocalist Shea Malcomson:
“TORONTO WE LOVE YOU!! The show was fantastic!! We are so happy we had the opportunity to play at the 100th Anniversary Grey Cup Festival. Thanks so much to Intel, the city of Toronto, Nathan Phillips Square, the CFL and of course MBNA. We look forward to being back in Toronto soon! Also a special thanks to all our fans that came out despite the cold!!”
