Drake & Carly Rae Jepsen among Canadians to receive 14 Grammy nominations [News]

Nashville, TN – It was a star studded affair last night at the 2013 Grammy Nominations Concert in Nashville. LL Cool J and Taylor Swift were the hosts for the night and entertainment was provided by Ne-Yo, Janelle Monáe, Adam Levine and more. Our Canadians did well as they racked up a total of 14 nominations. Toronto’s own Drake led the pack with three and Carly Rae Jepsen and Tamia were right behind him receiving two each. DeadMau5, Howard Shore, Loreena McKennit, Melanie Fiona, Michael Bublé, Tegan and Sara, and Arcade Fires Win Butler and Régine Chassagne all earned single nominations.

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards show will be held in Los Angeles at the Staples Center on February 10th, with the live broadcast beginning at 8pm ET/PT on Global and the Entertainment Tonight Canada pre-show at 7pm. Hit the jump for the full list of Canadian Grammy nominations.

Natasha was born and raised in Toronto.
