October’s Very Own signs with Warner Bros. Records [News]
Toronto, ON – According to Billboard, Drake’s October’s Very Own record label has just signed a deal with Warner Bros. Records, also home to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group. OVO has become a staple in the Toronto scene thanks to a high traffic blog, a clothing line and the annual OVO Fest which draws international attention. And, of course, the highly successful musical offerings of Drake, hit producer Noah “40” Shebib and the rest of the OVO team. While Drake is signed to Young Money/Cash Money (Universal), he has sworn allegiance to the OVO banner well before So Far Gone had seen the light of day.
More details are expected later today so we’ll keep you posted as they become available.
