Toronto, ONCALiPH has officially released his newest EP Lead With Love after previously releasing “Live For What You Love”, “Survivin’” and “Bin Abouta Dolla” off the project. As the first of a three-part series, Lead with Love presents the core concept of living life through the love of self, love of others and the love for success. The 5-track project’s production ranges from experimental sounds by Lapalux to classic boom-bap vibes from ItsJustKeys, but ultimately echoes cohesiveness through CALiPH’s lyrical vision of love. Hit the jump to learn more about CALiPH’s ‘Lead With’ series and to stream and download the EP.

Words from CALiPH

Lead with Love is my first EP from the ‘Lead With’ series. My mission for this series is to teach people what ‘RiseOrDie’ means in depth and what the ‘RiseOrDieLife’ stands for. Each EP (or EPisode) provides the tools needed to achieve that standard of living. What better way to start off the series than to start with the first thing that started me on this journey, LOVE. My love for music was what eventually led me to start creating my own, which in turn shaped the person I am today. Love is at the core in everything that I do. But love is just one of the many things (maybe the most important) needed to reach our full potentials”.

Natasha was born and raised in Toronto. She graduated from York University almost 2 years ago and since then has co-founded a youth led, social enterprise called The Next Edition which uses media and art to engage youth with their community. For the past year and a half she has been working with young aspiring artists who are looking for a way to showcase their skills and have their voice heard. With juggling weekly meetings, managing a website, and planning events for hundreds of people Natasha takes refuge in urban music. Researching and knowing the latest headlines, and newest tracks in the hip-hop world is something that she loves. But more importantly for her hip-hop is a lot more than just a genre of music, it is a culture and it has shaped who she is today. Finding a way to combine her passion for music, the knowledge she has gained from working with young people and the issues she has seen in the community is a goal Natasha would like to achieve in the near future. Recently, Natasha has taken on PR work for rappers and DJs.
