Lupe Fiasco kicked off stage at Obama inauguration event [Video]

Washington, D.C. – In an act somewhat reminiscent of Kanye West’s Hurricane Katrina PSA, Lupe Fiasco was escorted off a stage he was invited to speak on… by President Obama. The Chicago rapper was on the line-up for the Star Up Rock On concert held in honour of Barack Obama’s inauguration but Lupe didn’t come to celebrate.

Instead of a regular Lupe Fiasco performance set, for the most part fans were treated to a long drawn out rendition of an anti-Obama record called “Words I Never Said” which states clearly that he didn’t vote for the President. He refused to play any other material and was eventually escorted off stage by a security team. You can see it all in the footage below.
