Vancouver, BC – The recent Grammy awards held good news for Vancouver artist/producer Chin Injeti, whose work on Lecrae‘s gospel record Gravity helped him take home the prestigious award. The Grammys are of course not new to Chin - he also won in 2011 for his work on Eminem’s Recovery album.

Gravity is Lecrae’s sixth studio album and it debuted at #3 on the Billboard top 200 and #1 on the rap charts with 73k units sold. Alongside The New Royales and production partner DJ Khalil, Chin’s contribution was on the single “Mayday” featuring Big Krit and Ashton Jones.Incidentally, Chin was also nominated for his work on P!nk’s The Truth About Love, but the best pop album honors went to Kelly Clarkson.

Chin is currently working on a new solo record The Reverb due out later this year on Sparks Music, plus a side project entitled Of Giants and work with Hastings Set artists Sophia Danai and Omar Khan.
