Guelph, ON – Celebrated for his dynamic live performances, his political passion, and riveting artistry, K’naan comes to Guelph for an exclusive Hillside Inside show that will bring the mid-winter festival to a thrilling close.

The multiple Juno-award-winning artist will sing from his celebrated body of work, including his new album, Country, God, or the Girl. The album is K’naan’s first full-length work since his global smash single, “Wavin’ Flag,” which became the theme song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and reached #1 on iTunes in 18 countries around the world.

Opening for K’naan is Guelph’s own Sarah J. Felker, who, at only 19, has already played C’est What and Hugh’s Room in Toronto and has been backed on stage by the amazing Rik Emmett from Triumph.

Hillside Inside is an annual wintertime version of the much-loved Hillside music festival which kicked off on February 1st. Other acts included Great Lake Swimmers & Elliott Brood, Hannah Georgas & Dog Paisley, along with Hollerado & Born Ruffians. The Hillside Festival goes down July 26-28 on Guelph Lake Island. The line-up has yet to be announced but this year marks the 30th anniversary so expect a bigger show. No word yet if Canadian hip-hop will be represented. You can find up to date info and tickets at
