Toronto, ON – This week’s Song of the Day segment features some personal Canadian hip-hop picks from the 90′s. This is one of the earliest tracks from Kardinal Offishall and the only official single off his Eye & I album. “On Wit Da Show” also appears on his second album, Quest for Fire: Firestarter, Vol. 1.

Interesting fact… the original version of the song was called “On Wid Da Show.” It was produced by Saukrates and it was released in 1996 as a B-side of “Naughty Dread.” The song also features Saukrates, Jaden and Mali. You can stream that version after the jump.
