Vancouver, BC – These days it isn’t too often that New York rappers are at the helm of hip-hop charts but A$AP Rocky is doing it on !earshot. Our favourite national campus and community radio report has Rocky’s Long.Live.A$AP moving up ahead of Classified into the #1 spot on the National Hip-Hop Chart for the week ending Tuesday, March 12, 2013. The move leaves Classified in the #2 spot for his self-titled album followed by Ghettosocks, who remains in #3 with We’re Gonna Drink A Lot Of Wine This Year, Boys. After spending two consecutive weeks in the #5 spot, Parallel by Elaquent slides into #4 and Art Vandelay makes a huge leap from #9 to #5 with Eye 8 The Crow. Myka 9 and Factor held onto the #6 spot with Sovereign Soul and Urbnet’s Ill Tone debuts at #7 with Bringin’ The Hope Back. DJ Sun maintained the #8 spot with One Hundred while Spoken Nerd debuts at #9 with Our Team is Going to Win. Rounding out the list, Theo3′s Airplane Over One Way Streets dropped a few spots into the #10 position. Click the jump for the chart breakdown.
