Famous Announces Release of Debut Album Center Stage [News]

Toronto, ON – For everyone who has been following the Famous projects since the release of 4th Biggest City in January 2008, Famous has announced that he is currently in NYC working on his debut album titled Center Stage.

This album comes after a 3 part EP series titled Road To Center Stage, hosted by Hot 97’s DJ Kay Slay and Atlanta’s own DJ Drama. The EP series features production from Grammy Award winning Boi1da and ToneMason, as well as unreleased reference records for Taylor Swift, B.O.B & Akon. With 13 official videos, (all independent), associated with this project that generated over 1.3 million YouTube views, the buzz is finally gaining the recognition and his name is finally starting to make sense.

Also, over the next few months Famous will be on tour, visiting many of the beautiful countries that he has performed in over the last few years. With dates in Rotterdam, London, India (tentative), Hong Kong, Taiwan & Shanghai, we can only imagine the influences that will seep into the creation of Center Stage. Natasha was born and raised in Toronto. She graduated from York University almost 2 years ago and since then has co-founded a youth led, social enterprise called The Next Edition which uses media and art to engage youth with their community. For the past year and a half she has been working with young aspiring artists who are looking for a way to showcase their skills and have their voice heard. With juggling weekly meetings, managing a website, and planning events for hundreds of people Natasha takes refuge in urban music. Researching and knowing the latest headlines, and newest tracks in the hip-hop world is something that she loves. But more importantly for her hip-hop is a lot more than just a genre of music, it is a culture and it has shaped who she is today. Finding a way to combine her passion for music, the knowledge she has gained from working with young people and the issues she has seen in the community is a goal Natasha would like to achieve in the near future. Recently, Natasha has taken on PR work for rappers and DJs.
