The Liberators – Cuz I Got Mad Luv [Audio]

Edmonton, AB – Just in time for spring, Edmonton’s Self and So’ Def of the Liberators teamed up with producer Skip Sanders for the ultimate chill-out track, “Cuz I Got Mad Luv.” This slow-jam laces catchy jazz melodies under tight-rhymed verses from So’ Def and Self that send a nod of respect to all of the unsigned independents struggling to make it in the hip-hop scene: “I got mad love for anybody who do it themselves—stay true to the game and not losin’ themselves.” So spread some mad love and give it a listen after the jump.

The tune is one of Self’s favourites, to date. He has requested that all of his appreciating fans, “…put an ‘L’ up.” So when you find yourself singing along to this ear-worm hours after listening to it, hit up The Liberators on RiverbNation and give the rest of their mellow old school-inspired tracks a listen.
