Young Tox – Celebrity Girl [Audio]

Edmonton, AB – It would be safe to assume that Young Tox is jealous of Kanye West. After all, Kanye is dating one of the most notorious celebrity girls around. And let’s face it—everyone wants their own Kim, Rihanna, Amber Rose, or other famous starlet beau. Young Tox decided to make an ode to all of the famous ladies on the scene with his latest track “Celebrity Girl” from his debut mixtape Intoxicated. The 24-year old rapper, who pulls double-duty as a member of the Triple Crown crew, makes a throwback to Twista’s popularized “Overnight Celebrity” melody. But Tox keeps it fresh by adding his own cheeky rhymes that take jabs at the ladies of the tabloids. Check it out after the jump.

The track was recorded and mixed at Smashtbenz Studios in Edmonton and highlights Tox’s ability to take a classic hip-hop tune and remaster it for a new audience. Although Tox pokes fun at Amber Rose’s mannish appearance and Lindsay Lohan’s complete lack of sobriety, he doesn’t neglect to to give credit where it’s due: “Natalie Portman— gotta be one of the hottest.”
