Cadence Weapon – When It’s Real ft. Jarell Perry [Audio]

Edmonton, AB – Not one to shy away from musical experimentation, Cadence Weapon teamed up with Los Angeles soul-singer Jarell Perry and Saskatchewan rapper-producer Muneshine for Weapon’s latest track, “When It’s Real.” Straying from his typical Rollie rhymes, Weapon slows it down for a soulful love-making track. Weapon chose to collaborate with Perry after the two met at a party in Los Angeles. Though Rollie started off in Edmonton’s music scene, he has been spending most of his time in Montreal and Los Angeles. But don’t worry, Weapon told HipHopCanada that he still misses the “prairie spirit.” Check it out after the jump.
