Dirty Radio – Lick 1.0 (EP) [Review]

Vancouver, BCLick 1.0 is the first installment of a 3 EP series that is expected to drop later this year from Dirty Radio. The 5-track project produces incredibly infectious hooks and sturdy beats. It’s a little bit of rock, pop, dance, and electronic infused with R&B and hip-hop influences.

When listening to Dirty Radio it almost sounds as if they’re going through a genre identity crisis, which is actually quite the opposite. While you try to figure out how to place them into one genre it can be a bit confusing at first. However, you’ll realize early on that this is what works for them, it sets them apart from most Canadian artists. They don’t single out just one scene and their reputable sound caters to an audience of people who are from all walks of life. Cop the EP from iTunes here.
